Group Campsites

Alice Lake Provincial Park Group Sites

Alice Lake

Alice Lake is surrounded by towering mountains, dense forests and grassy areas. There are four fresh water lakes that dominate the landscape and make swimming and fishing very enjoyable pastimes. The trail around Alice Lake is a popular one for an evening stroll and for the more adventurous there is the Four Lakes Trail. There are excellent views of the Squamish River and the Tantalus Range from the DeBeck’s Hill Trail. This is a favourite family park.

Group Campsite Reservations: Group campsite reservations are accepted at this park for dates starting March 11 to October 30.
There are two group campsites available at this park. The sites can hold groups of 15 to 40 people. Each group site has a central fire ring and tarp posts for your convenience. Please check in at 1:00pm and check out at 11:00am, this will give the park operator time to clean the site prior to the next group’s arrival. For reservation information click here.

Youth group camping charges per night are $1/person (6+), with a $50 minimum and $150 maximum. Read the Youth Group policy about Criteria for Youth Groups.

Regular group camping charges per night are the base rate for the site, which is $120.00/group site/night, plus $5/adult (16+, minimum charge for 15 adults), plus $1/child (6-15). Children under 6 are free!
Allison Pool Group Site
Allison Pool
This 7 site group campsite is desired by families and group gatherings. Located along the banks of the Chilliwack River it's easily accessed off Chilliwack Lake Road. The site is popular with anglers and kayakers, and hikers have quick access to the Trans Canada Trail. 

Phone-in reservations are no longer conducted. The site is reserved as a whole site where reservations can be made within the calendar year. All visitors are required to exit the site by 10:30 PM as gates are locked at 11:00 PM and will remain closed until 7:00 AM. This site does not have on-site supervision. 
Cultus Lake Provincial Park Group Sites
Cultus lake
As one of the most popular destination areas in the Lower Mainland, Cultus Lake Provincial Park is characterized by a large, warm freshwater lake and scenic forest-clad mountains. The park is almost evenly divided between the northwest and southeast sides of Cultus Lake. The northwest portion is mostly undeveloped with the visitor-oriented facilities confined to the southeast portion.
Just an hour and a half drive away from Vancouver, visitors will find a large day-use area for picnicking and boating, and ample opportunity for fishing, water skiing, wind surfing and hiking.

Group campsite reservations are accepted at this park for dates starting March 24 to October 9. There are four group sites available at Cultus Lake park; Two at Honeymoon Bay, each of which can accommodate 15 to 45 people, and two at “Westside,” sites A and B, each of which can hold a maximum of 30 people, and will provide an area for RVers and tenters to enjoy the lake. To get to the Westside group site: Approach from Chilliwack on Columbia Valley Hwy. approx. 7 km from Chilliwack.

All group site users must check in at the Cultus Lake Gate House first to register and get camping information.

Golden Ears Provincial Park Group Sites
Golden Ears
As one of the largest parks in the province, Golden Ears Provincial Park is prized for its recreational opportunities. The extensive system of trails within the park provides an excellent opportunity for hiking and horseback riding.

Alouette Lake is a popular spot for swimming, windsurfing, water-skiing, canoeing, boating and fishing. The park also has three large campgrounds. Vegetation is typical of the coastal western Hemlock forest of B.C. and the mountainous backcountry is extremely rugged.

There are two group campgrounds available for reservation, by any group booking a minimum of 15 adults, with a maximum total of 50 persons. A minimum booking fee applies and additional fees apply for extra persons. There is a covered shelter available at the Golden Ears group site by West Canyon parking lot. The Alouette group site is located near the boat launch by the lake. Click here for reservation information. Group campgrounds may be booked up to one year in advance.

Mount Seymour Provincial Park Group Site
Mount Seymour
Located just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Mount Seymour has been enjoyed by generations of Lower Mainland residents.

There is one group campsite at this park which can be reserved. This group site may be booked year round. Click here for reservation information.
The group campsite is a short 50m walk from parking lot #1. The site offers a pit toilet, large group shelter with wood stove, five (5) picnic tables, and a single outside group fire pit. Drinking water is available. All wood must be brought in by the party or purchased from Mt. Seymour Resorts.

Weaver Lake Group Site
Weaver Lake
Enjoy use of this GROUP site for your family or group gatherings. This semi-private site is located at the northeast side of Weaver Lake and boasts a dock, 10 tenting pad sites and a communal fire ring. In addition, it features a beautiful log shelter complete with wood stove, food preparation station and three beautiful log tables. 

The lake is stocked and small boats are welcome, however, a maximum power restriction is set at 7.5 Kw or 10 hp motors. 

Enjoy easy access to the popular Denham trail that is located adjacent to the site. This nature hike loops around the lake and is approximately 6 km long and about 3 hours to complete. It is well worth the hike as you explore the many boardwalks, bridges and the beauty of nature along its path. 

The fee structure is: weekdays are $200.00/night with weekends and holidays are $250.00 per night. This site is available through reservations only. This site has a locked gate at the FSR, however public use will occur along the Denham trail, there is no on-site supervision.
Wolf Lake
Wolf Lake
A favourite small campsite situated next to Wolf Lake. Enjoy EXCLUSIVE USE of this GROUP site for your family or group gatherings. A dock is available for those who enjoy fishing. 

The whole recreation site can be reserved as a group site or on a first-come, first-served basis when not reserved. For campers without reservations you are encouraged to inquire at the Chehalis River Recreation Site for availability. For complete reservation, payment and site information visit www.westharrisonreservations.com. The fee for exclusive use of this site is $50.00/night. There is a locked gate with no on-site supervision. This is a CASH ONLY site with fees being collected accordingly. 

All visitors are required to exit the site by 10:30 PM as gates are locked at 11:00 PM and will remain closed until 7:00 AM.
