Went down to the tidal fraser on opening day yesterday to spin cast for a couple hours just before noon, only caught a few wild jacks and a large cutthroat which I retained. Tried again this afternoon and got into some more jacks, a summer run hatch steelhead then hit this 12 pound buck coho:
It had my rod bent in half for awhile before finally landing it. BTW got the fish processing table from Cdn Tire, works great and made wife very happy lol. Got a couple massive filets from this fish.
