Special Notes: Worlds largest freshwater tidal lake. Good year round fishing is available at this easily accessible lake. Sudden winds and debris necessitate care when boating. Because Pitt lake is linked with a number of waterways, there are a multitude of fish species inhabiting this large lake. The best bets for Dolly Varden and trout are in the deeper bays, larger stream estuaries and deep cliff areas. There are reports of Rainbow of up to 5 lbs. A good nautical chart is a necessity because of the number of shallow areas.
