Special Notes: Not known as a great fishing lake, Hatzic does however support Rainbow, Cutthroat, Black Crappie, juvenile Coho and Sturgeon. Rainbows are the most numerous and will reach up to 1 lb. It is best fished during fall and early spring. Hatzic is better known for waterskiing and swimming and receives heavy use during the summer months. No fishing for Sturgeon. Speed restriction on parts (8 & 50 km/h). Public access through Neilson Regional Park.
