The Loons Flyfishing Club was founded in 1987. We are a small club with 23 members as of this date.

We are located in the Nanoose to Bowser area of Vancouver Island. We meet eight times a year in Parksville and host many other events seminars, educational classes, fish-outs, BBQ’s, fly-tying, etc. The Mid-Island Castaways were established in 1996 and have 127 members that are primarily interested in lake, river, and beach fishing.
